1. The easiest way to survive is using your speed. The smaller the cell, the faster it moves. As it gains mass, it gets slower. So, you can very easily run from bigger cells. Whenever one comes closer to you, just start moving in the other direction. It will not be able to catch up, and will soon give up the chase.
2. Besides a cell, another entity in this game is a virus. It is a green colored circular object with spikes on its sides. If a massive cell collides with it, the cell will get sliced. That’s why the bigger cells avoid getting closer to viruses. Smaller cells get pass it without any harm. You can use this to your advantage. When one such cell is chasing you, just find the nearest virus and slide under it. The bigger cell will not dare come closer.
3. You can also use the biggest cells in the game to survive a chase. Obviously getting to close will get you eaten up. But the same thing is applied for the cell chasing you. If you just start hovering a little closer to one these biggest cells, the one chasing you will think several times before coming closer to you.
